ProjecTracer is for numerical models of mantle convection. This Fortran code features the application of Lagrangian tracer particles to accurately model the advection of temperature and composition. Accordingly, ProjecTracer is well suited for systems with high Rayleigh numbers and sharp compositional variations. Simulation results have been published in peer-reviewed articles1,2,3.
